After the steel panels are constructed, a concrete binder is poured around the outside of the pool walls, in the over dig area. This is approximately 12" high, and 2.5" wide of concrete tied in with the steel supports and rebar. Talk about strong!

Most pool builders will use a vermiculite or sand material to shape the pool floor. We prefer to use 4,000 PSI strength concrete for your pool floor. It is much stronger, and will hold much better. When it comes time to replace the vinyl liner, chances are you will not have floor repair work to handle.
